Dr. Jas Arora, DMD Dr. Arora graduated from Boston University in 1997 and has been practicing General Dentistry since then. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. Dr. Arora is dedicated to providing the best oral care to her patients in a gentle, efficient and professional manner. To provide her patients with the latest techniques in the constantly changing dental field, Dr. Arora continues to broaden her skills by investing her time in continuing education courses. Dr. Arora is passionate about traveling and has traveled to several countries in the world. She lived in London, England for 2 years and has recently returned from Dublin, Ireland where she lived with her family for 1 year. She has traveled extensively to several European countries including France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Scotland. Dr. Arora has also traveled extensively in Asia including Japan, India, Hong Kong, Nepal, S. Korea and Singapore. Her all time favorite city is Roman, Italy where she vacationed with her family.

Nav Arora Dr. Jas Arora is supported by Nav Arora to whom she has been happily married for 10+ years. Nav has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and a MBA in Marketing from San Jose State University. Nav has held various management and director level positions at leading semiconductor companies including National Semiconductor, Texas Instruments and Analog Devices. Nav has lived and worked in 4 continents and brings a wealth of cultural, management and marketing experience to Oxford Dental and is responsible for insuring your "total satisfaction" during your visits to Oxford Dental. Nav is an avid traveler and sportsman and looks forward to meeting with you.

Dr. Paul M. Kaplan, DMD, MS Enodontist Dr. Kaplan, or Dr. Root, as he is affectionately known as in this area, has been practicing as an Endodontist (Root Canal Therapy Specialist) for nearly ten years. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's School of Dental Medicine, as well as the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. He received his specialty certificate in Endodontics from the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. Additionally, while at the University of Buffalo. he was awarded a Masters of Science degree in the Oral Sciences for research he completed in the field of Digital Subtraction Radiography. Dr. Kaplan has been awarded many honors, including being chosen as one of America's Top Dentists in the field of Endodontics. and as one of Better Living Magazine's Best Doctors for Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Away from the office, Dr. Kaplan performs cantorial concerts, teaches tennis, and enjoys quiet time boating and fishing with his family (wife, Stephanie and son, Sammy). Many of his patients make mention of the "special" treatment they receive while under his care, as they are each treated to a cantorial rendition during their visit.

Dr. Omar Salem, DMD, MS Orthodontist Dr. Salem graduated from Tufts University with a specialization in Orthodontics as well as obtaining a Masters Degree in Science and certificate of proficiency in Orthodontics from State University of New York at Buffalo, NY. Dr. Salem is currently the Director of Predoctoral Orthodontic Program at Tufts University. Dr Salem has also completed several research and externship programs in Periodontics, Oral Surgery and Management of Cleft Lip and Palate. Dr. Salem is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists and continues to take advanced courses to further his skills and provide quality treatment to all his patients. Dr. Salem particularly enjoys working with children, and gets great satisfaction while watching their smile improve throughout treatment. He currently lives in the Greater Boston area with his wife and two children

Dr. Kenneth Plisner Oral Surgeon Dr. Plisner graduated from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington D.C. in 1973. He was a member of The Oral Cancer Society of Washington D.C. from 1969 to 1973. He’s also a member of American Associates of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Plisner completed a Dental Internship at the New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center in New York from 1973 to 1974. He also completed an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Internships in Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry-- University Hospital from 1974 to 1975. He completed his residency at Boston City Hospital, Tufts New England Medical Center from 1975 to 1977. Dr. Plisner had been practicing Oral and Maxillofacial surgery since 1977. He was in private practice in Maryland from 1983 to 2001 and then moved back to MA. He enjoys tennis, skiing and lives happily with his wife in Boston.

Avrum R. Goldstein Avrum R. Goldstein is a native of Canada, where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1971. He went on to complete his training in Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania in 1975. Dr. Goldstein has held academic appointments at the University of Manitoba, SUNY (Buffalo), the University of Connecticut Health Center, and for the past 20 years as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Yale School of Medicine and an Attending Periodontist at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Goldstein is Board Certified in Periodontics, both in the United States as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and in Canada, as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists. He was recently honored by the American Board of Periodontology for completing 25 years of board certification. Dr. Goldstein has been very involved in dental education, having written many scientific articles and lectured both at home and abroad. He has also taken an active role in organized dentistry, having served as the President of the New Haven (Connecticut) Dental Association. Dr. Goldstein brings to his practice more than 30 years of experience in all facets of periodontics and more than 20 years of experience in implant dentistry.

Dr. William Koplin, DDS, MScD Orthodontist Dr. Koplin graduated from Case Western Reserve University and CWRU School of Dentistry in Cleveland, and from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry’s Orthodontic Department in 1970. He has been in practicing in Orthodontics in Franklin and Uxbridge for over 25 years and has recently chosen to join the dental team at Oxford Dental. Dr. Koplin has provided beautiful smiles for 3 genera-tions in the greater Franklin area. He has been happily married to Linda for over 35 years. Dr. Koplin has also been recognized in 3 different Who’s Who of Professional People.
